When and why did you start training for fighting? My son inspired me. Once the football door shut, my brother was having success. I didn’t want to be a failure in my son’s eyes.

What professional titles have you held? I won The Ultimate Fighter season 30

What has been your toughest fight to date and why?  Every fight is very tough 

Who is your favorite fighter and why?  Anthony “Rumble” Johnson - the energy and viciousness he brought to the cage was unmatched

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? General Studies

What was your job before you started fighting? First job was at Blockbuster

Origin of nickname: I got my nickname my freshman year in college. I wasn’t the tallest guy or the biggest guy. But what I had was drive. When guys quit, I kept going.

Personal Life / Background: I have twin boys, 2 older brothers and a sister (Kamaru Usman, Kash Usman, Ashlynn Usman). My mom and dad are my heart. I love to sit on the beach and reflect, and I love working out and talking to my parents
