UFC 264: Poirier vs McGregor 3 50/50 Raffle Grosses More Than $141,000 And Sets New UFC Record
The UFC 50/50 raffle during UFC 264: Poirier vs McGregor 3 at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, July 10, generated a jackpot of $141,045 – a new UFC record.
50% of the net proceeds – $70,522.50 – will benefit UFC’s charitable partner for the event, the Nevada Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
“Our experience with the UFC 50/50 raffle exceeded all expectations!” said Jennifer Campbell, Executive Director, Nevada Chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. “UFC is a pleasure to work with and a well-oiled machine. We were able to raise money for our mission that was totally unexpected this year and that is a HUGE win!”
UFC 264: POIRIER vs. McGREGOR 3 served as UFC’s first-ever online and in-venue 50/50 raffle in Nevada, with fans ages 18 years or older located anywhere in the state at time of purchase eligible by visiting UFC.Bump5050.com. Fans were also able to purchase tickets at T-Mobile Arena during the pre-event press conference, ceremonial weigh-ins and UFC 264, as well as the Howler Head viewing party at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Since being established in 1967, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation has invested more than $384 million into finding the causes, treatments and cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
The winner, who has yet to come forward, has until Monday, August 9 to claim their half of the jackpot. If the prize is not claimed during this time, the remaining net proceeds will go to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
This was UFC’s eighth 50/50 raffle in Las Vegas. UFC 50/50’s in Las Vegas have collectively raised more than $482,000 with net proceeds benefitting local charities Make-A-Wish, Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, Catholic Charities, Miracle Flights, Opportunity Village, Three Square Foodbank, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation and now Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
