When and why did you start training for fighting? My dad owns a martial arts gym (kickboxing). It’s a family business and I was put into it from a young age. Me and my sister, who is an Olympian in kickboxing, done it our whole lives. In 2017, my last year in kickboxing, me my dad and my sister were all on the national team together and competed in the world championship. My dad and sister both got bronze, and I got double gold in the point fighting and continuous fighting division. It was really special to share together.

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? Since starting MMA, this has been the goal. It’s a huge milestone in my career and I’m super grateful for the opportunity, but it’s not everything until I’m UFC world champion. I’ve been a world champion kickboxer, world champion in amateur MMA, and I will be UFC world champ. I’ll be satisfied then (and after defending it a few times).
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I’ve done leisure management and personal training straight after school, but then I went into finance.
What was your job before you started fighting? I worked in Deloitte in finance.
Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? MMA 9-3
