When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training right before high school. I was getting bullied and wanted to build self-confidence.
Training: Wake up, cold shower, meditation, morning pro MMA practice, come home, recharge, train again at night, recovery work (sauna, cold plunge, mobility work). Usually, 2-3 sessions a day. Night routine: get optimized sleep to train hard again the next day.
What ranks and titles have you held? 4-time BFL champion (British Columbia), BTC fight champion (Ontario)
Do you have any heroes? My coaches Gavin Hesson and Lyndon Whitlock
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means that I’m on the right path to become the best in the world and to test my skills against the best in the world. Also, it’s the place to build my brand and make money to set up my family and loved ones for life.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I studied Criminal Justice at the University of Guelph-Humber in Toronto.
What was your job before you started fighting? Snowboarding instructor
