When and why did you start training for fighting? May of 2002. I always loved the sport - my dad and friends got me into it.



What ranks and titles have you held? Sportfight light heavyweight title, ISKA middleweight title, Desert Brawl middleweight title, Ring Wars middleweight title, black belt in BJJ



Do you have any heroes? My dad, Randy Couture, Dan Gable.



What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s an honor, and a long time coming.



Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? School of Hard Knocks, and I’m a graduate of the Team Quest instructors course.



What was your job before you started fighting? Bouncer and bartender.



Accomplishments in amateur competition? Desert Brawl middleweight title
